Argyle’s 3-2 defeat against Leyton Orient last night was the latest in a long line of terrible Tuesdays at Home Park.

The Greens just do not like playing under the floodlights on a Tuesday evening at home.

Since dropping into League Two for the 2011-2012 season Argyle have played 17 league games on a Tuesday night at home and have won just three times.

The record over those 17 games is won three, drawn eight and lost six, picking up just 17 points from a possible 51, scoring 17 goals and conceding 20.

Derek Adams’ record as manager for Tuesday night games is played five, won two, drawn one and lost two.

Argyle’s next scheduled Tuesday game at Home Park is in two weeks time against Notts County followed by Blackpool a week later.
