Argyle’s crucial League Two game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Easter Friday will be broadcast live by Sky TV.

The match will now kick-off at 2.30pm on April 14th, 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.

It will be Argyle’s fifth live TV game of the season earning the club a total of £272,000 in broadcast fees.

The first TV game of this season was the FA Cup Second Round replay against Newport County in December, this was followed by two FA Cup games against Liverpool; all three cup games were screened by BT Sport.

At the end of this month the League Two top of the table clash at Doncaster Rovers will be shown by Sky followed three weeks later by the Portsmouth tie.

With the Argyle players on TV more times than Ant and Dec there’s no truth in the rumour that the Argyle squad are looking to apply for Equity cards!
