Argyle started the month in 16th place, playing six league games during October; winning two games, drawing one and losing three. The Pilgrims’ scored 10 goals and conceded eight.
Carl Fletcher’s side finished the month in 18th place in League Two.
The Greens also progressed into the Area Quarter-final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy with a 2-1 home win over Aldershot.

Durrell Berry had a steady month at right-back and is slowly returning to the excellent form of last season after recovering from injury.

Goalkeeper Jake Cole made a number of fantastic saves in the six league games played and won several Man of the Match awards.

Paris Cowan-Hall posed a threat either as a striker or a wingman during the last month and popped up with two goals.

Argentinean Andres Gurrieri scored two goals from a new position in the team operating just behind the lone striker and has the knack of finding space between the opposition midfield and defence.

Midfielder Conor Hourihane is at the heart of the new passing style employed by manager Carl Fletcher and scored a cracking 25-yard goal at Cheltenham.

On-loan Aldershot striker Guy Madjo was top scorer in October with three goals and also impressed with his work-rate and strength while operating as a lone striker.
