Who has been Plymouth Argyle’s best player during February?

The Greens had a an excellent month, playing five League Two games, winning three, drawing one and losing one game, scoring nine goals and conceding six.
John Sheridan’s side moved up to eighth in the table at the end of February, just four points away from a play-off position.

So who was the best player during February?
We have narrowed the contenders down to six players.

Lewis Alessandra alternated as a striker or wide man during February, his creativity and non-stop running was a feature of the team and he also weighed in with three goals.

Midfielder Dominic Blizzard is enjoying his best spell of the season in the Argyle engine room.

Jake Cole deputised for the injured Luke McCormick and pulled off several fine saves during February to prove he is one of the best keepers in League Two.

Skipper Conor Hourihane had a consistent month, capped with a goal in the 4-0 win away to Fleetwood.

Centre-back Curtis Nelson was solid at the back for Argyle and is proving to be one of the best young players in League Two.

Striker Reuben Reid once again led the line well and scored three goals during the month to take his tally to 16 for the season.
