Argyle’s successive trip to Holland for pre-season training has highlighted the return of financial stability at the club.

After a six-year break it’s the second consecutive season where the Argyle squad have travelled abroad for team bonding and pre-season training.
Manager Derek Adams has good knowledge of the training camp in Delden, Holland after using the facility at Ross County and also last year with Argyle and has returned again this summer.

The last time the Greens enjoyed a pre-season on foreign shores was under Peter Reid in 2010 when the squad stayed in Holland and played three friendly matches.

The healthy financial state of the PAFC after years of financial struggles and administration has allowed the players to once again jet off to Europe for pre-season training.

Holland and Austria have been popular destinations for the Pilgrims, however over the years pre-season tours and training abroad have always been a feature for Argyle, as listed below.
