Argyle have signed Torquay United striker Nathan Blissett.

The powerful 6-foot 4-inch tall frontman is the second signing of the January transfer window after defender Jakub Sokolik signed yesterday.

It is believed Argyle have paid a £15,000 transfer fee to their Devon neighbours rising to £30,000 depending on appearances.

Blissett, 26, joined Torquay in January 2016 and scored 12 goals in 41 games, he’s had a good career at non-league level playing for Bristol Rovers, Kidderminster Harriers and Hednesford Town and will now look to further his career at Argyle by winning promotion to League One.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower!
