Argyle have signed Oxford United striker Ryan Taylor.

The 28-year old front man is the fourth Argyle signing during the January transfer window.

Taylor started his career at Rotherham United with short loan spells at Burton Albion and Exeter City, moves to Bristol City and Portsmouth followed before he signed for Oxford in 2015.

Taylor has been a regular for Oxford in League One this season making 31 appearances and represents an excellent signing for the Greens.

Argyle manager Derek Adams told the club official website:”He’s 28 years of age; he takes the ball in and leads the line very well; and it’s important that at this stage of the season you have experience in your team. He’s experienced; he’s won promotion out of this league.”

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, Ryan!
