Argyle’s 1-0 defeat against Notts County last night was the latest in a long line of terrible Tuesdays at Home Park.

The Greens just do not like playing under the floodlights on a Tuesday evening at home with the last league win on a Tuesday coming in September 2015. Once the lights switch on, we switch off!

Since dropping into League Two for the 2011-2012 season Argyle have played 18 league games on a Tuesday night at Home Park and have won just three times.

The record over those 18 games is won three, drawn eight and lost seven, picking up just 17 points from a possible 54 – less than a point per game – scoring 17 goals and conceding 21.

Argyle manager Derek Adams has lost his last four Tuesday night home games and his record for seven Tuesday league games in total is won two, drawn one and lost four.

Argyle’s next scheduled Tuesday game at Home Park is next week against Blackpool and a chance to beat the Tuesday night curse!
