Argyle frontmen Jake Jervis, Ryan Taylor and Nathan Blissett have all been named as outside bets to be the top goal scorer in League One for season 2017-2018.

Betting company Bet Victor has placed all three Argyle strikers at 50-1 to score the most goals in League One for the new season.

Jervis, who has played 99 games for the Greens, was the top scorer at Home Park in season 2015-2016 with 14 goals and scored another 13 last season, which is a good return for a player who usually plays in a wide right-sided position.

Taylor arrived at Argyle in January 2017 and scored four goals in 15 appearances while Blissett, who also signed in January, scored two goals in nine games.

Surprisingly Argyle midfielder Graham Carey does not make the list complied by the bookmaker with odds stretching as far out to 66-1 for the likes of Blackpool striker Marc Cullen.

Bet Victor rank Blackburn Rovers striker Danny Graham as the player likely to be top goal scorer in League One with odds of 8-1, Wigan’s strikeforce of Omar Bogle and Will Grigg are both placed at 10-1 while Brett Pitman (Portsmouth), Dominic Samuel (Blackburn) and Ricky Miller (Peterborough) are all ranked at 14-1.
