Home Park will have temporary seating for the FA Cup Third Round replay against Liverpool on Wednesday.

Argyle’s current capacity of 13,500, plus 2,462 Liverpool fans, is not enough to cope with the phenomenal demand for this game with members of the Green Army laying siege on the Home Park ticket office and online ticketing website in search for the hottest ticket in town.

To increase capacity the Mayflower Terrace will have 1,800 temporary seats at £35 each, the price includes a match programme and a voucher for food and drink at a future game, despite this high cost the club are making a loss on this venture to ensure as many fans as possible can watch the game.

The Mayflower Terrace also had temporary seating while Argyle played in the Championship but the seats were removed in 2010 because the £100,000 cost per season to hire the seats was considered too expensive.
