Plymouth Argyle captain Conor Hourihane has signed a new two-year contract.

The 22-year old midfielder was offered a new deal following the expiry of his original contract this summer.

Hourihane was one of Argyle’s most improved players for the second half of last season and much of that was due to the appointment of John Sheridan as manager in January.
The Irish playmaker has blossomed into an excellent midfielder since Sheridan arrived at Home Park and is a vital member of the team.

Hourihane’s signature is fantastic news for the Green Army!

Welcome back on board the good ship Mayflower, Conor!
