Plymouth Argyle are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Jake Jervis in the four one victory over Yeovil Town at the weekend at Home Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Jervis was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Plymouth made it eight wins in nine unbeaten Sky Bet League Two matches, cruising past Yeovil Town in a battle down south. Jervis’ two goals were not the most spectacular of his career, but they all count!’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Jervis for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Will Norris (Cambridge United), Ben Turner (Burton Albion), Kyle Bartley (Leeds United), Mark Connolly (Crawley Town), Christopher Schindler (Huddersfield Town), Scott Wiseman (Scunthorpe United), Frank Moussa (Walsall), Charlie Colkett (Bristol Rovers), Ben Pearson (Preston North End), Jake Jervis (Plymouth Argyle), Padraig Amond (Hartlepool United).

Manager – Keith Curle (Carlisle United).
