The referee for Argyle’s League Two game against Crawley Town at Home Park on Saturday is Brendan Malone.

Malone is somewhat of a lucky ref because his last six visits to Home Park has seen six successive wins for Argyle without conceding a goal.

The Wiltshire-based official was last in charge of an Argyle game in November when the Greens were beaten 2-0 by the Swansea under-23 team at the Liberty Stadium in the EFL Trophy, he was also the man in the middle when Mansfield Town were beaten 2-0 at Home Park in August this season.
Since 2010 Malone has officiated in an Argyle game 13 times and our record is seven wins, three draws and three defeats.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Home Park regulars Richard Hulme and Simon Knapp while the fourth official is Adrian Tranter.
