The referee for Argyle’s League Two game against Morecambe at Home Park on Saturday is Dean Whitestone.

The Northamptonshire-based ref is a lucky official with Argyle winning their last six games with Whitestone in charge.
He has already been the man in the middle for three Argyle games this season, all of them were away wins starting with the Devon Derby league game against Exeter City at St James` Park in September which resulted in a 2-0 win for the Greens, this was followed by two FA Cup games – a 2-1 win at Mansfield and a 1-0 win at Newport in a second round replay.

So far this season Whitestone has shown 104 yellow cards and just two red cards in 37 games.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Robert Dabbs and Simon Knapp while the fourth official is Adrian Tranter.
