Permission Granted

Reports in the local press show that Swindon have granted permission for Paul Sturrock to talk to Plymouth Argyle with regard to the vacant managers position.
A lunchtime board meeting was concluded at the Wiltshire club with Paul Sturrock making plans to go to Devon this afternoon to talk terms with the Argyle board.

Press speculation has been hot since the departure of Ian Holloway last week and the ex Plymouth boss has been at the front of every list seen in from fans and journalists since the job became open. Paul Sturrock, who has long been a favourite of the green army looks set to take up his position later on today, making his debut in the dugout for the top of the table clash against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.

A report from the local Swindon press this Lunchtime suggests that Sturrock will say goodbye to the players before their afternoon training session (take notes Holloway) and go directly to Home Park to meet with the Argyle board. It looks like today could see the return of the king.
