Do Argyle fans want the stadium completed or new players?
The Argyle board have big decisions to make.

Twist or bust?

Think back to the 2000/2001 season, remember the old ground being demolished and replaced with shiny new stands, well for two thirds of the stadium anyway. We were told the final piece of the jigsaw, the grandstand, would be replaced soon, the soundbite at the time was ‘Phase 2’.
Since then the Argyle faithfull have been waiting and waiting for their Holy Grail, hopes dashed along the way as the local council, a key player in Phase 2, announced they were in debt and speculation abounded that the Phase 2 project was cancelled.
For their part the Argyle board of directors have said all along that they want Phase 2 completed ASAP, but never revealed the funds available to build the new stand.
The latest news ( about 6 months old ) is that the project will start Summer 2006.

So what now?
Argyle have a new manager, the team is struggling and the transfer window is about to swing open.
Will the Argyle board of directors direct any Phase 2 money towards buying new players? If no money is available for the manager will the team be relegated?
A nice shiny new stand but the team will be in League One.

January will be a big month for Plymouth Argyle.
