The referee for Argyle’s crucial League Two game against Oxford United at Home Park on Saturday is James Adcock.

The Nottinghamshire-based official was last in charge of an Argyle game in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in November 2014 when Coventry won 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena. Before that Adcock was the man in the middle when Argyle lost 2-1 away to Bury in a League Two fixture in August 2014.

Adcock will be assisted by Andrew Turner and Simon Knapp while the fourth official is Andrew Quinn.

The game pits second place against third in League Two after Oxford leapfrogged Argyle on Tuesday but only on goal difference.
