The referee for Argyle’s final game of the season against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park on Saturday is Ross Joyce.

The Cleveland-based official is in his second season as an EFL referee after being promoted from the National League and has already taken charge of two Argyle games this season; both were 2-1 away wins at Stevenage and Cheltenham where defender Sonny Bradley scored four goals for the Greens and an own goal for Stevenage.

So far this season Joyce has issued 177 yellow cards and 12 red cards in 43 games.

He will be assisted on Saturday by James Bell and Glen Hart while the fourth official is Ben Toner.

Argyle need to win against Grimsby or match the results of Doncaster Rovers and Portsmouth to clinch the League Two title.
