Will Argyle beat the Home Park Tuesday jinx in League One?

Since 2011 the Greens have played 19 league games at Home Park on a Tuesday evening and have won just three games with the last Tuesday win coming back in September 2015.
The record over those 19 games is won three, drawn eight and lost eight, picking up just 17 points from a possible 57.

For the new season in League One Argyle have three Tuesday fixtures scheduled at Home Park, with the first of those against Blackpool in September, ironically it was the Seasiders who were the most recent Tuesday night victors at Home Park with a 3-0 win in March last season.
Northampton Town will be at Home Park in November and AFC Wimbledon will visit on a Tuesday in February 2018.

Last season in League Two the Greens lost all four Tuesday league games at Home Park, scoring just two goals and conceding nine.

Derek Adams’ record as manager for Tuesday night games is played seven, won two, drawn one and lost four.

Let’s hope the terrible Tuesday’s can be banished for the new season in League One
