Argyle & Barnsley Try Again

Plymouth Argyle’s abandoned Championship game against Barnsley has been rearranged for Tuesday January 12th at Home Park with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The original game took place last Saturday but with heavy rain falling throughout the game referee Gavin Ward had no choice to call the game off after 58 minutes. Barnsley had taken a 4-1 lead and were understandably frustrated at the decision but it was the correct decision.

The rearranged game at Home Park could also be the subject of change if Argyle and Barnsley require replays in their respective FA Cup Third Round games against Newcastle United and Scunthorpe.
