Arnason Is Player Of The Month

Kari Arnason has been voted as Plymouth Argyle Player of the Month for January by fans who visit the Plymouth Vital website.

Our poll asked fans to vote for the best Argyle player for January and Arnie came out on top with 54% of the poll.
Midfielder Alan Judge was in second place with 32%.

Arnason, who recently signed a contract extension, has had a consistent season since being converted from a midfielder to a centre-back.
While many fans would like to see the Icelandic international play in his natural position in midfield, he has proved to be Argyle’s best defender this season and will continue as a centre-back for the foreseeable future.

Previous winners of the Player of the Month poll include Arnason again for December and November; Jamie Mackie came out on top in October and September while Alan Gow was the fans’ favourite for August.
