No Bore Draw For Argyle

Plymouth Argyle’s 1-1 stalemate with Swansea City on Tuesday was the Pilgrims’ first drawn Championship game for four months!

Damien Johnson’s late equaliser against the Swans gained Argyle only their fourth draw of the season, the lowest amount in the Championship. Two of those drawn matches came in the first two encounters of the season against Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers.

Before the Swansea game Argyle’s last stalemate was back in October when Ipswich Town were the visitors to Home Park with the game ending 1-1, indeed all four of Argyle’s drawn games have ended with one goal-a-piece.
