All Change?

December is here again and with the January transfer window just around the corner, what changes can we expect at Plymouth Argyle?
National press have already begun to speculate the future moves of a number of the Argyle squad and with big money being thrown around, who knows what will happen?

The fans as always will be left with baited breath watching the press eagerly over the next couple of months and no one seems to sure about how much movement there will be in Home Park.

Three names in particular are being linked with other clubs, two of whom were already revealed by Plymouth Vital earlier in the week as Dan Gosling and Peter Halmosi, both of whom appear to be attracting a price tag in the region of £1 million each. The next name on the list appears to be the old favourite of transfer speculation – David Norris. Reports today suggest that Ipswich are to make a bid in the region of £2 million, whereas the other bid will be coming from our old friend Ian Holloway to try and attract him to the Walkers Stadium.

Ipswich are to be taken over by entrepreneur Marcus Evans this month and subsequently there is rumoured to be a £12 million pound pot being put up to strengthen the squad. After already showing an interest in Norris earlier in the year it is thought a £2 million pound bid will test the resolve of Argyle who have clearly labelled the midfielder as unavailable. One thing is for certain, if Norris is set to leave I think most fans would rather see him at Portman Road than at Leicester.

We’ll do well to hang on to all these – our only hope is to have a storming December so that we’re well in with a play off chance. If we’re mid-table, Norris et al will be on their way.

Don’t forget that players will be joining Argyle as well, it’s not all doom and gloom.

All fans of all sucessful clbubs are panicking, players will come and players will go. One thing is for sure and that is nobody has a clue what will happen. One WBA fan has just told me that Mobray and his best players will be off to Boro soon. See what i mean?
