Plymouth Argyle’s new loan signing Gary Teale is available for a permanent transfer at the end of the season for £300,000.

On Tuesday Argyle boss Paul Sturrock signed the 29-year old right-winger on-loan until the end of the season from Derby County and has already agreed a transfer fee with the Rams should Teale impress during his loan spell.

The Scottish international made his debut for the Pilgrims in Tuesday`s 2-0 away win against Southampton, coming on as a 69th minute substitute.
The transfer fee quoted by Derby is well within Argyle’s price range and could represent could business for a player who has international and Premier League experience.

Teale has made 18 appearances for Derby in the Premier League this season but and has fallen down the pecking order at Pride Park.
The pacy winger, who has 10 international caps, signed for the Rams in January 2007 from Wigan Athletic for £600,000 and played a key role when Derby won promotion to the Premier League.

Teale started his career in Scotland with Clydebank before moving to Ayr United and then signed for Wigan in 2001 for £200,000. The midfielder was a member of the Wigan side that won promotion from the old Second Division in 2003 and again in 2005 when Wigan were promoted to the Premier League.
