With the January transfer window about to ‘slam’ shut on Thursday at 11pm will there be any activity at Home Park?

Argyle manager John Sheridan (pictured above) has already signed five new players and has indicated that he will not be adding to his squad.

Sheridan signed defenders Guy Branston and Anthony Charles and boosted his strike options by snapping up Ronan Murray, Reuben Reid and Gozie Ugwu so it looks like that is the end of the new arrivals.

With new signings unlikely the attention turns to possible departures with Onismor Bhasera the favourite to hit the A38 and head north with Walsall, Leeds, Northampton and Shrewsbury all rumoured to be interested in the left sided player.
With Bhasera the last player left in the squad from the Championship days his possible move will free up some wages and allow Sheridan to wheel and deal when the emergency loan window opens next month.

Striker Rhys Griffiths has been told that he is no longer required at Home Park and is expected to return to Wales.

Some of the younger players could go out on-loan to gain first-team experience.
Clubs based in the South West might show an interest in Jared Sims, Jamie Richards, Isaac Vassell and Mat Lecointe.

Transfer deadline day is always an exciting time for supporters and a frantic period for clubs, players and agents.
For most fans the day is spent glued to Sky Sports News or hitting F5 on the club website.

For the Green Army the last days and hours of the transfer window is more likely to be about departures rather than arrivals but you just never know.
