John Sheridan’s side also narrowly lost a Capital One Cup game on penalties against Leyton Orient.

Striker Reiben Reid is back on the goal trail with five goals before August ended, midfielder Anthony O’Connor has been calm and assured, Jason Banton has shown some trickery on the wings, Tyler Harvey produced a match winning performance against rivals Exeter City, Curtis Nelson has been strong in defence and the hard working Lewis Alessandra scored and set-up the goals against Southend.
