The Greens remained unbeaten in the five league games played during the month and didn’t concede a single goal, winning four games and drawing one, scoring six goals and finishing the month in 6th place in League Two.

John Sheridan’s team also beat Swindon Town 3-2 at Home Park in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

So who was the best player during October?

Here are the contenders.

Striker Reuben Reid scored three goals in October including the winners against Tranmere and Shrewsbury.

There’s a few options, the two Reid’s, McCormick, Alessandra, Blizzard, Nelson but my choice is Hartley.
