Argyle are poised to sign Everton striker Calum Dyson.

The tall striker, who turns 21 in September, is expected to move to Home Park on a six-month loan deal within the next few days.

Dyson joined the Premier League club at the age of six and has been a regular member of the under-21 and under-23 teams and has also had loan spells at Stockport County and Chester.

He spent the second half of last season on-loan at Grimsby Town and played against Argyle in the final game of the season and despite his short stay at Grimsby was named Young Player of the Season.
While at Blundell Park Dyson scored four goals in 15 appearances

Argyle manager Derek Adams currently has just two tall strikers in his squad in Ryan Taylor and Nathan Blissett.
