Rooney On Trial At Yeovil

Former Argyle striker Louis Rooney is on trial at League Two side Yeovil Town.

The 20-year old played in a pre-season game against Weymouth on Tuesday evening, joining three other former Argyle stars, Connor Smith, Stephane Zubar and Ryan Dickson, who played for the Glovers in the 2-1 win.

Rooney was released by Argyle at the end of last season after completing a loan spell at Hartlepool United, the Torpoint-born striker joined the Greens at the age of nine, signing a professional contract in 2015 and making a total of four appearances and scoring one goal.
