Gordon Bennett, the former Head of Youth Development at Argyle, has returned to the club as a director of Plymouth Argyle Football in the Community Trust.

Bennett is an experienced football administrator and spent five years as Head of Youth at Home Park before leaving at the end of last season.

Other directors on the Plymouth Argyle Football in the Community Trust include Finance Director and acting Chief Executive Martin Baker, General Manager Jason Turner, former Argyle director Captain David Tall, Reverend Nicholas McKinnel and Plymouth Council education adviser John Searson.

Established in 1992 the PAFITCT is a charitable organisation with the aim of bringing football to all walks of life in Plymouth. The vision is to bring the football club and the community closer together and become the leading sports and educational trust within the South West.

    A really good days work by someone to get Gordon involved with Argyle again.

    Perhaps now ith this and the other appointments, the PAFITCT will have a higher profile and become more active.

    Agree with that Tony, the PAFITCT have strong leaders, proof that James Brent is taking interaction with the community seriously. Could do with more fan involvement as the next step.
