The referee for Argyle’s final League Two game of the season against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Saturday is former Premier League whistle blower Stuart Attwell.

In 2008 the Warwickshire-based official became the youngest ever person to referee a Premier League game when he took charge of the match between Blackburn and Hull at age 25.
Attwell was demoted to the Football League in 2012. His last game as the man in the middle for Argyle was in December 2008 when the Greens lost 1-0 away to Cardiff with defender David McNamee receiving a late red card.

Attwell will be assisted by Paul Kelly and David Woolford while the fourth official is John Busby.
