Sturrock Return To Plymouth – Poll

With Plymouth Argyle manager Tony Pulis about to head up to Stoke City and take over as their manager, Plymouth Vital asked Argyle fans: “Would you like Paul Sturrock back as manager?”

Sturrock is still regarded as a legend by Plymouth Argyle fans; he turned Argyle around with little or no money and sent the club towards two Championships in three seasons. In a recent Plymouth Vital poll Sturrock was voted as Plymouth Argyle`s Greatest Ever Manager with 66% of the vote.

So our latest poll asked: ” Would you like Paul Sturrock back as Argyle manager?” and it`s not surprising that 68% of fans want Sturrock to return, while 32% didn`t want him to return.

Sturrock is of course manager at Sheffield Wednesday and is busy bringing in new players in preparation for next season, so it`s highly unlikely that Sturrock would replace Pulis as Argyle manager, but 68% of Argyle fans can only dream.

Check out our new poll where we ask, ” Who will win the World Cup?”

The poll can be accessed on the Home and News pages and discussed on our message boards.

I would personally lay out the red carpet if Sturrock ever came back. A living Argyle legend!

A very good manager in the lower leagues. Surely he’d do a good job for you AGAIN !! I reckon he would. He knows the town and supporters and also the players around that he’d need.
