Plymouth Argyle’s Hungarian duo Peter Halmosi and Akos Buzsaky each picked up another international cap when Hungary beat Poland 1-0 in Lodz on Wednesday evening.

The international friendly was decided by a late penalty from midfielder Tamás Hajnal, although Poland did field a much-weakened side.

Both Argyle midfielders were second half substitutes with Halmosi (pictured above) winning his 16th cap when he came on at the start of the second half, while Buzsaky made his 7th appearance for Hungary in the 78th minute.

The two Magyars will now travel back to Plymouth and prepare for the Championship game against Coventry City on Saturday, although due to their international exploits both players may find themselves on the bench.
