Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan has added to his squad by signing striker Gozie Ugwu on-loan from Premier League side Reading.
Ugwu arrives on an initial one-month loan that could be extended until the end of the season, the 6-foot 2-inch tall striker will add pace, height and strength to the Argyle attack.
Oxford-born Ugwu came through the youth system at Reading and signed a new two-year contract last summer, he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Royals but had a spell on-loan at Ebbsfleet last season and has just returned from a six-month stint at Yeovil Town where he scored three goals in five starts, making a total of 18 appearances for the League One club.
Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, Gozie!
